Any day is a good day when it’s a day at the beach, but it’s a great day when it also happens to be the Crystal Lake Park District’s Truck or Treat. While the air was definitely hinting at the end of fall, the sun was out in full strength to cast amazing light on the remaining fall leaves.
As usual, it was a pretty full house of treaters at this very popular annual treating event.
While the treaters were in full force, the number of trucks, or trunks as it has become more so lately, seems to have dwindled a little over the past couple of years.
Regardless though, everyone seemed to have a great time.

If you didn’t make it this year, here are some photos of a little of what you missed. One thing is sure though, whether big or small, the Crystal Lake Park District puts on a great event year after year.

My hope for McHenry Life is to create a resource and destination for the residents and businesses of McHenry County alike. A place where residents can discover new places to explore, fun events and ways to spend time, and then share those experiences with others. A place where businesses can connect with existing and potential customers, and not simply market their businesses, but share their own unique stories.
