The Cary-Grove Chamber of Commerce hosts not just one, but two annual Halloween Walks (Fox River Grove and Cary). Talk about a real treat! Of course, these events, like many of the Chamber events, couldn’t happen without the support of the Chamber businesses and organizations. We caught up with the Chamber and treaters at the walk in Fox River Grove.
The Halloween Walk in Fox River Grove takes place every year in the small strip mall on the east side of the village.
Many of the businesses in the shopping center participate, as well as other Chamber member businesses that are located elsewhere. The walk is held outside under the covered walkway, so it moves along pretty smoothly.
Address: 980 W State Rte 22, Fox River Grove, IL 60021
The Halloween Walk provides a great chance for local businesses to help support the community while also potentially connecting with new customers. It’s also great, especially for parents of younger children, as it is held during the day and is easy to traverse with wagons and strollers.
And, any trick-or-treating that involves pizza is a winner in our book!

President and Founder of Identity Developments, LLC, the parent company of the McHenry Life website. My hope for McHenry Life is to create a resource and destination for the residents and businesses of McHenry County alike. A place where residents can discover new places to explore, fun events and ways to spend time, and then share those experiences with others. A place where businesses can connect with existing and potential customers, and not simply market their businesses, but share their own unique stories.
