We’ll link to current and past sweepstakes below, but first, we wanted to give a broad overview of our rules & terms for sweepstakes, because it’s a bummer to win something and then find out you are disqualified.
General Rules & Terms Overview
- No purchase necessary
- Winner(s) are electronically chosen at random from all entries
- Open to legal residents of the United States
- Who are age 18 or older
- Winner(s) must be able to pick up any prize in person at a determined location within McHenry County, Illinois
- Winner agrees to submit an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release
- and be able to present proof of identity.
Each sweepstake will feature specific rules & terms that you should review before entering, but the above is a quick overview of rules that will apply to all McHenry Life sweepstakes unless otherwise noted in the rules & terms of the specific sweepstakes.

My McHenry Life $100 Giveaway
January 5 – 31, 2023: We kicked off 2023 with our first-ever My McHenry Life giveaway where the winner got to choose their prize. Participants chose a McHenry County business, organization, or charity where they wanted to use their $100 winnings.
What a hit! This unique giveaway had the highest participation of any giveaway we’ve done so far. Thank you again to everyone who participated.
