Finally made it to a Green Street Cruise Night, and it was a real treat…literally, a special trunk or treat night. As they closed out their car show season, they also invited car participants to join in a trunk or treat. Because this was a special night and the last night of the season, I didn’t have any previous experiences to compare against. On its own merits though, it was a pretty impressive turnout of both cars and attendees.
And seeing old hot rods and other cruise night classics decked out in various degrees of Halloween decorations is definitely a unique sight.
The Green Street Cruise Nights are also unique in that they are hosted by Financial Dynamics, Inc., an insurance and financial planning agency in McHenry.

It was great weather and a wonderful fall evening, filled with some great cars, and hopefully a lot of fun for all. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until next year to experience a “regular” Green Street Cruise Night. In honor of this special Halloween-themed showing though, here are some extra dark and moody photos.
