Over 100 Photos – Huntley Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony
Memorial Day was busy this year, stopping by the Field of the Fallen, the Fox River Grove parade & ceremony, and finishing out in Huntley. Needless to say, took a while to get through all the photos! If you didn’t make it to Huntley’s Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony, then pour yourself a hot or cold one, because here are over 100 photos, which are just scraping the surface as it is! And if you’re from Huntley, then apparently, given the size of the crowd as well as the parade, you were probably there watching or in the parade itself! But enjoy…maybe you’ll see something you missed, or maybe you’ll see yourself!
Huntley held their Memorial Day parade to a near-standing room-only crowd along a nearly 1-mile stretch from the Municipal Complex to the village square.
Following the parade, a ceremony was held at the village square and in front of the American Legion hall, including a wreath-laying ceremony and Honor Guard salute.
What follows are over 100 photos taken before, during, and after the parade, as well as from the Memorial Day Ceremony following the parade.
