Motor Werks of Barrington Cars & Coffee 2021 Car Show

After the last road trip, we kept a little closer to home this weekend and didn’t even cross any state lines on this journey, Over the Line! Finally made it to a Motor Werks Cars & Coffee car show, and clearly, even the occasional sprinkle wasn’t going to keep people away!

We arrived about an hour into the event, and there was already no shortage of attendees. This may be most apparent based on the majority of “close-up” photos, as anything from much further back would yield more people than cars.

Hats off to the Motor Werks team as they pulled together a wonderful event, with a nice mix of different cars, from supercars to classic, vintage hot rods, and a lot in between.

While we didn’t come across any coffee to go with the wide array of cars, they did bring in some food trucks and were handing out some very decent schwag.

Cars ebbed and flowed even while we were there, which is often the case at car shows like this, but otherwise, it seemed fairly full up. Fortunately, they also have a sizable backlot for attendee parking.

The weather held out, and it was truly a great way to spend part of the day, and I can’t wait for the next one! Best of all, while a bit unusual, it was great to visit Motor Werks and leave without a receipt!
