Cary Farmers Market Finds a New Summer Home

The end of June doesn’t typically feature sunny days with temps in the 60s, so when it does, a trip to the farmers market is definitely in order. There aren’t as many choices on Sunday, and since the Cary market was debuting its new location this year, it was an easy choice.

The Rotary Club of Cary-Grove puts on the Cary Farmers Market and you can stop by their tent while you are there.

While the Cary Summer Market had traditionally been held at the far end of the north parking lot of the Metra, it was moved a couple of blocks over to West Main Street this year.

The Village had just finished renovating the “downtown” area of Cary, so this makes for a much nicer backdrop.

Address: W Main St & Spring St, Cary, IL 60013

One of the great benefits of the new location is the combining of the market with the local businesses. Going to the market? Now you can do so and easily grab a coffee or other beverage as you stroll through the market.

Hopping downtown to grab a coffee or lunch? Now you might also swing through the farmers market before or after doing so.

Heck, grab a coffee at Conscious Cup, hit the market, have lunch at Tracks Bar & Grill or Uncle Jerry’s Pizza Company, hit the market again, and swing by the Cary Ale House after…it’s a perfect day!

A place where residents can discover new places to explore, fun events and ways to spend time, and then share those experiences with others. A place where businesses can connect with existing and potential customers, and not simply market their businesses, but share their own unique stories.
