Want to learn how to use a chainsaw, but don’t know how to get started? Participants will be introduced to protective equipment, basic chainsaw maintenance, and the development of technique to safely fell a tree and cut it up. Participants are welcome to bring their own protective equipment such as leather gloves, safety glasses, earplugs, and chaps, but we will have some for people to use during the class as well. This class is tailored for beginners who have never used a chainsaw. Please bring lunch and water.
