Story: The MCYSA is a community-based, volunteer organization that hosts a Summer International Youth Baseball Tournament each July since 1993. We feature teams from around the world and across the country. Teams from Japan, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Mexico and many states join us almost every year. The tournament draws about 1000 players, 200 coaches and 2000 fans to McHenry County and has an economic impact of over $1 Million on the area.
The baseball is very competitive. Eloy Jimenez of the White Sox is just one MLB player who played in our event. Involvement of international teams makes this a great cultural event. Special event nights include a parade of teams and fireworks.
