Story: CASA of McHenry County believes EVERY Child Deserves to Live in a Safe, Loving, Forever Home. Our mission is to support and protect children who have experienced abuse or neglect by providing them with a trained, committed volunteer who advocate for their best interest. These volunteers build a relationship with the child, provide stability among chaos, and report to the judge on behalf of the child’s best interest. There are over 200 children in the foster care system in McHenry County every year and every single one deserves a CASA advocate looking out for them and walking alongside them throughout their entire time in the system.
