The Woodstock Summer Farmer’s Market is doubly unique. For one, it’s the only farmer market in McHenry County that is held twice a week, primarily on Saturday but also on Tuesday for part of the summer. It is also operated as a strictly producers-only market, which means that everything offered is grown or produced directly by the vendors at the market.
The Woodstock Farmers Market is one of the largest markets in McHenry County, and personally, is the one that most reminds us of the farmers market in Madison, Wisconsin since they are both held around a square…Madison’s surrounding the state capitol though.
Tuesday may not be as full vendor-wise as Saturday, but it still offers a wide selection and is also, naturally, less crowded as well.

President and Founder of Identity Developments, LLC, the parent company of the McHenry Life website. My hope for McHenry Life is to create a resource and destination for the residents and businesses of McHenry County alike. A place where residents can discover new places to explore, fun events and ways to spend time, and then share those experiences with others. A place where businesses can connect with existing and potential customers, and not simply market their businesses, but share their own unique stories.
