While we didn’t make it for the tree lighting, we still enjoyed a walk through Veteran’s Memorial Park in McHenry the week before Christmas. The display here was much more on the classic side, composed mostly of white lights throughout many of the trees in the park. The decorations around the gazebo were a perfect touch, with red and green landscape spots along the base, white lights around the top, and garland & bows along the roofline.
If you get a chance, be sure to swing by and take a walk through the park and enjoy the lights before they come down. And in case you don’t make it, enjoy the pictures we have here!
