Saturday was a good day to swing by the Downtown Crystal Lake Farmers Market before meeting out-of-town family for lunch at Benedict’s La Strata.

Would love to say that you’ll find a fantastic photo here of the even more fantastic Grilled Ahi Club…but it was so good and half-finished before the notion hit! Fortunately, we made it before the market closed up for the day.

As my son Hamilton was with me, some of the photos here may have been influenced directly or indirectly by him…I’ll let you see if you can figure out which!
