Not all ice rinks have a status line, but some do feature on-site status flags where a green flag indicates the rink is open for ice skating and a red flag indicates that the rink is closed, often due to unsafe conditions for ice skating. Be aware that many of the locations are unsupervised.

Cary Ice Skating Rinks
Jaycee Park
Jaycee Park ice rink is cleared and managed by the Cary Park District when temps remain below freezing. The rink is lighted to allow for evening skating until 9 pm and also features a warming shelter and restrooms.
