This festival serves as the primary fundraiser for the Lakeside Legacy Foundation, supporting its year-round arts, education, history, and community programs. The Dole’s festival team works in collaboration with the City of Crystal Lake, coordinating festival activities with the city’s Independence Day parade and fireworks displays to create a cohesive holiday celebration.
