Home of the Sparrow has been serving McHenry County and Northern Illinois for over 35 years. We offer safe, affordable housing to women, children, and individuals experiencing homelessness. While operating a Transitional Shelter, Affordable Housing, and Subsidized Housing, we also offer wrap-around case management services to address the problem of homelessness at the root and allow for lasting self-sufficiency. Annually we serve over 500+ people in need with around 70% of those individuals coming from a Domestic Violence situation. Help us, help your community!
