WOODSTOCK FOLK FESTIVAL, INC. (WFF) operates as a non-profit, entirely volunteer-run organization situated in Woodstock, Illinois.
Its mission is dedicated to presenting high-quality folk music from local, national, and international artists to audiences in Northern Illinois.
To achieve this, WFF organizes a full-day summer Festival held each year on the third Sunday of July on the historic Woodstock Square, in addition to sponsoring various concerts throughout the year.
Woodstock itself is recognized by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as a Distinctive Destination and is also known as the filming location for the movie Groundhog Day.
