Content: You get professional photos and a comprehensive article that lives permanently on our platform. Reach: We promote the article across our social channels and feature it in our Magazine. Engagement: We provide the “firsthand view” that moves potential customers from curiosity to action.
What We Need: Hosted Experience Examples
- Lodging & Wellness: Waived cost for an overnight stay (B&Bs, hotels, cabins) or a full spa treatment.
- Attractions: Complimentary access and/or a guided tour of a museum, gallery, or botanical garden.
- New Product/Service: A day or weekend trial of a new model release or a free trial of a high-value service.
- Event Access: Waived entry, special amenities, and access to premium areas at a fair, festival, or other paid event.
- Exclusive Look: Entry to a performance or event, plus special access for behind-the-scenes content and photography.
- Business Showcase: Entry into an expo with pre-arranged highlights and access to select vendors (requires client coordination).

Your Commitment (The “Sponsored” Part)
You must waive or cover all direct expenses associated with the experience. This includes, but is not limited to: admission fees, parking, activity fees, and related food/beverage costs. Standard travel costs (mileage) are excluded from this requirement.

Especially when there are a lot of events happening around the same time, we can’t be everywhere, so preference is given to those who:
- Advance Lead Time: Contact us as early as possible.
- Events Calendar: Ensure your event is already listed in our Events Calendar (applies to McHenry County events).
- Ease of Access: Providing a media pass, guaranteed parking, or special access significantly increases your chance of being selected.
- Comprehensive Materials: Providing a media kit, background information, or press releases makes our story development process faster.
